On Monday 2nd June 2025, ten students from Year 7 and Year 8 attended a special Eid workshop at Norton Rose Fulbright in central London. The event celebrated themes of unity, identity, and faith through interactive and reflective activities.
Students listened to a nasheed highlighting the message of unity, reflecting on how Eid brings the ummah together. They explored different styles of Arabic calligraphy, practiced writing their names in Arabic, and designed their own Eid-themed bookmarks. Selected students delivered thoughtful speeches sharing personal reflections on what Eid means to them.
The session concluded with a guest speaker who explained the story of Eid al-Adha, its significance, and the powerful lesson of sacrifice behind it.
The workshop was a meaningful and creative experience, encouraging students to reflect on their faith and identity while engaging with professionals in an inspiring setting.
