UNIFORM
The wearing of a smart school uniform is central to good discipline and to the ethos of the school. Therefore, we are committed to full uniform for all students in Years 7–11.
As an Islamic school, we place great importance on modesty. Students are expected to wear loose-fitting clothing that provides full coverage, even in an all-female environment. This reflects both the values of the school and the principles of Islamic conduct.
We expect students to take pride in their personal appearance and in wearing their school uniform. Uniforms should be kept clean and smart. Attention to personal hygiene and grooming is also important.

T-shirt | A white long-sleeve t-shirt must be worn underneath abaya. It may be short-sleeve in the summer |
Hijab (headscarf) | Plain white head scarf (should not be coloured, transparent, decorated or embroidered) |
Hijab cap (worn beneath hijab) | Plain black or white |
Shoes | Plain, black, sensible, flat school shoes; no trainers or high heels. Flat boots may be worn in the winter or on rainy days |
Socks | Black or white above the ankle |
Bag | Ruck sack or strong shoulder bag |
Coat | Black or navy blue mid length coat (waist length coats/jackets, leather/denim jackets are not permitted) |
* School cardigans and abayas are available for purchase from the school office, and cost £20 each.

UNIFORM RULES
- Students must wear school uniform at all times.
- Hoodies are not permitted to be worn on the school site at any time.
- No make-up, including false nails, may be worn.
- Jewellery: Students may wear a wristwatch and one nose stud. No other jewellery is permitted, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, studs, or any other items, even if not normally visible. These items are confiscated if worn.
- If a student is temporarily without the correct uniform due to an emergency, parents should provide a note explaining the situation, and the student must collect a uniform pass from the office.
