At Madani Girls’ School, we believe in empowering our students to become future leaders and entrepreneurs. On the 24th of February 2023, our Year 7s and 8s embarked on an exciting journey to set up their own businesses, exploring every facet of the entrepreneurial world – from branding to product design, marketing to management, production, and sales.
The purpose of Enterprise Day was to provide our students with a hands-on experience of the business world. Divided into teams, they were tasked with creating their own business from the ground up, complete with a unique product or service, branding, and a marketing strategy.
Throughout the day, our young entrepreneurs navigated the different stages of establishing and running a successful business. They worked on branding and logo design, developed their product or service, created marketing materials, and even managed their production and sales. The students displayed their teamwork skills, creativity, and determination as they tackled various challenges that real-world entrepreneurs face. They were supported by dedicated teachers and mentors who guided them through each step.
Enterprise Day not only taught our students about entrepreneurship but also helped them develop essential life skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. These skills will serve them well in their future academic and professional endeavours.
