On Friday 11th October 2024, we held a successful Mental Health Day where students took part in a variety of calming activities designed to promote relaxation and emotional well-being. Each student had the opportunity to choose from activities that they personally found most calming, including cake decorating, walking to the park, bookmark making, colouring, board games, football, reading, crafting, calligraphy, and Salawat. It was wonderful to see students engage with these activities, taking the time to de-stress in their own way.

In addition to the activities, students were asked to write down a quote that makes them happy, encouraging them to reflect on positivity and joy. Throughout the day, students also wrote anonymous notes of appreciation to both staff and fellow students, spreading kindness and uplifting the school community.

The feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive, and we hope they will continue to incorporate some of these calming practices into their daily routines. The day was a valuable reminder of the importance of mental well-being, and we are proud to provide these opportunities for our students to relax, reflect, and support one another.
