On Wednesday 10th December 2025, 8 of our year 10 students were invited to attend an exciting STEM competition event — a full-day, intellectually engaging challenge hosted on campus at Imperial College London.
During the day, students took part in a variety of hands-on STEM challenges, designed to test their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in real-world scenarios. They worked collaboratively in teams, developing strategies, sharing ideas, and learning to think like scientists and engineers.
In addition to the competition, students had the chance to explore the university campus, gain insight into university-level STEM facilities, and experience what it’s like to be in a higher education environment. The event provided an inspiring glimpse into STEM careers and motivated students to continue pursuing their interests in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
