KS3 Pupils Immerse Themselves in the World of Opportunities at KidZania!

We are delighted to share the captivating journey our KS3 students undertook during their recent visit to KidZania, an interactive city designed for children. This immersive experience, in the week starting 13/11/23, not only allowed hands-on activities but also provided a unique opportunity for interaction with industry professionals across various sectors.

There were representatives from The Home Office, Dorsett Shepherds Bush, Descendants Charity, Cube Group Services, Bright Little Labs, British Airways, KidsTime2Play, and many more. The presence of such a varied group of professionals offered our students a sneak peek into the expansive spectrum of career possibilities awaiting them in the future.

Highlights of the KidZania Excursion:

     

      1. Interactive Learning: Students engaged in a range of activities designed to replicate real-world scenarios. Whether taking on roles in law enforcement with The Home Office or delving into the hospitality industry at Dorsett Shepherds Bush, our pupils gained hands-on insights into various professions.

      1. Inspiring Encounters: Meeting professionals from Descendants Charity, Cube Group Services, Bright Little Labs, British Airways, KidsTime2Play, and other organizations allowed our students to learn about different industries first-hand. They had meaningful conversations, posed questions, and received valuable advice about pursuing their passions.

      1. Career Exploration: KidZania provided a dynamic environment for our KS3 students to explore diverse career paths. By interacting with professionals, they gained a better understanding of the skills and qualifications required for various roles, fostering a sense of curiosity and ambition for their future careers.

    1. Building Networks: The event served as an excellent opportunity for our pupils to start building their professional networks early on. Connecting with industry experts may prove invaluable as they continue to navigate their educational journey and plan for the future.
