Year 9 to City Hall

On Monday, 20th January, and Tuesday, 28th January, our Year 9 students had the exciting opportunity to visit City Hall, where they took part in engaging activities to deepen their understanding of London’s history and governance.

They explored the city’s unique role on both national and global stages and learned about the responsibilities of the Greater London Authority (GLA), the Mayor of London, and the London Assembly. Through discussions on contemporary issues, students developed an appreciation for different political viewpoints and the importance of voting.

This interactive experience helped bring the policy-making process to life, inspiring them to think critically about the future of London.
